They did a great job with our little one. Although my husband or I are Mexican and they continue to pronounce our name in a Spanish language. I had to correct them. They need to learn to speak the English language properly. Our last name is a very old name that is European and majority of people know how to pronounce it. They also had a mix up with who we were and when we were picking are beloved animals ashes. They need to to get organized.

I have come to the humane society since I was a kid. Over the years this place has declined in compassion and consideration. I have a cat that is outdoors, which it is extremely hard to catch. Therefore, I cannot make an appointment. I came in as walk in at 8:00am. I was the first of 2 only walk ins. The person at the front said they will do all the appointments ahead of me before my walk in appointment. After 2 hours, I asked another person upfront of the status of my walk in. The person informed me that ALL WALK INS get placed ahead of me. How does that work when there are appointments throughout the day. Before they would do like the first person told me. All the appointments before me will go and than I am last, not constantly get pushed to the back. I had to take PTO for this walk in, a whole day wasted with no guarantee. As a result I will not longer recommend coming here as it operates for appointments only.

They did a good job with my Sugar. She had some complications a few days after her surgery and they saw me right away to address any issues. Turns out she was allergic to the pain medication. Very nice staff. Please be nice as they are doing their best with such a large amount of patients.

I can't say enough nice things about this place and the staff. I came here to put my 15 yr. old pitbull down because she was suffering. From the moment I checked in the young man at the front desk was so kind and spoke to me with compassion in his voice. The young lady in the back that assisted us with Princess was very sweet, kind, & professional. She didn't rush us or make us feel uncomfortable. Thank you all for everything you do!

I am eternally grateful for HSSB neutering my bunny Nebula years ago. The took good care of him and allowed his companion Galaxy to stay with him, which is incredibly important for rabbits. My 25 year old cat's kidney's shut down and she lost bowel control. I could not afford euthanasia fees in my rural area. Over the phone I was treated with exceptional compassion especially when I broke down and cried. A gentleman named Eric Cross went way beyond the call to accommodate me. He let me email vet records to him and he printed them out for me so I could prove she is my cat as per policy. Everything I describe above makes the euthanasia of my cat unpleasantly surprising. A receptionist brought me into the euthanasia room and gave me a copy of a beautiful poem. She told me I would be able to spend as much time with my kitty after final injection as I needed. The tech who gave my cat injections was very abrupt, cold, and insensitive. She gave my cat the tranquilizers in her leg and did not tell me it would be normal for her to gasp several times. She left the room and returned to give final injection. She wrapped my cat in a soiled towel and handed her to me and ushered me out the door
